The Museum, which occupies the former Palace of the Counts of La Roca and Dukes of Feria and is located inside the Alcazaba, has very interesting permanent exhibitions of archaeological pieces found in the many archaeological sites in the province of Badajoz .
A journey from the Lower Paleolithic to the sixteenth century, perfectly ordered by periods, allowing you to go through history in a linear way.
In these months this museum is preparing to host the largest permanent exhibition on the Tartessian culture, including the famous faces of Turunñuelo. In the meantime you can visit the rest of the collections that will delight you.
