Booking conditions

RESERVATION AND USE CONDITIONS OF THE ACCOMMODATION

By making a reservation through this website, you (hereinafter referred to as the TRAVELER) and your companions expressly accept the following contracting conditions. We recommend that you read this document carefully before confirming your reservation, as it implies full acceptance of these conditions.

1. CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP

1.1. The TRAVELER contracts directly with the selected ACCOMMODATION, La Posada de los Sentidos. The responsibility for the quality of service, cleanliness, suitability, and conditions of the accommodation rests exclusively with the ACCOMMODATION.

1.2. This website uses the technological platform of Mr Plan to manage reservations and payments through Redsys, Servicios de Procesamiento, S.L., contracted with Banco Santander. Mr Plan acts solely as a technological intermediary, facilitating the transmission of the reservation and processing of the payment.

1.3. The contractual relationship is established exclusively between the TRAVELER and the ACCOMMODATION. Mr Plan assumes no responsibility for breaches arising from the provision of services by the ACCOMMODATION.

2. RESERVATION PROCESS

2.1. Required Data: During the reservation process, data such as check-in and check-out dates, TRAVELER information, and payment method will be requested. The TRAVELER is responsible for entering the data correctly.

2.2. Pre-reservation: Upon completing the process, a pre-reservation voucher will be generated. The ACCOMMODATION has a maximum period of 24 hours to accept or reject the reservation. The TRAVELER will be notified by email.

2.3. Advance Payment: If the pre-reservation is accepted, the advance payment (if applicable) will be automatically charged to the provided card.

2.4. Reservation Confirmation: To confirm the reservation, the TRAVELER must pay the total amount, plus any management fees (if applicable). These amounts will be detailed during the reservation process.

2.5. Payment Methods: The payment options are provided by Redsys and automatically validated by Mr Plan. If the payment is not validated within the indicated period, the reservation will be canceled, and any amount paid will be refunded, except for management fees.

3. PAYMENT POLICY AND METHODS

3.1. Price Included:

The price covers the stay, accommodation, and applicable taxes, including basic consumption of water, electricity, bed linen, towels, and kitchen utensils, unless otherwise stated in the specific conditions of the ACCOMMODATION.

3.2. Price Not Included:

Extras not selected during the reservation, such as firewood (?15.00 per refill).
Tourist taxes (if applicable) and deposits (if any).

3.3. Advance Payment:

The ACCOMMODATION may charge the amount of the reservation on the date it is made.

3.4. Payment Methods:

Credit/Debit Card:
Visa.
Mastercard.
Bizum: A popular mobile payment service in Spain.
Bank Transfer: Available for national and international accounts.
Cash: Cash payment upon arrival, subject to prior authorization from the ACCOMMODATION.

4. USE OF FACILITIES

4.1. Pool:

The use of the pool is under the exclusive responsibility of the guests.
There is no lifeguard, so children must always be supervised by an adult.
Prohibitions:

Eating or drinking in the pool area is not allowed.
Under no circumstances may glass cups or glasses be used in the pool area.
Pets are not allowed in the pool.
Guests must comply with the usage rules displayed in the pool area.

4.2. Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped for the use of guests. Please leave it clean and tidy after use.

4.3. Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its facilities during their stay.

5. MAXIMUM CAPACITY AND ACCOMMODATION RULES

5.1. Capacity:

The number of people occupying the ACCOMMODATION may not exceed the capacity indicated in the reservation. Capacity is understood as 2 people per double or matrimonial bed and 1 person per single or extra bed.
The ACCOMMODATION will not allow entry of persons above the contracted capacity, without any right to claim for this reason.

5.2. Check-In and Check-Out:

Arrival Time: From 14:00 hours.
Departure Time: Before 12:00 hours.
Online Check-In:

Must be completed 24 hours before arrival. If not done, this may result in cancellation of the reservation.
All guests, including children, must register indicating their relationship to the responsible persons they accompany (father, uncle, mother, etc.).

Online Check-In is a legal requirement and must be complied with. The documentary registration of travelers is regulated by Royal Decree 933/2021, of October 26. Accommodation providers must collect user data and proceed with its registration and communication to the police authorities. Entry forms must be signed by all persons over fourteen years of age using the accommodation services.

Key Delivery Coordination:

The TRAVELER must contact the ACCOMMODATION to coordinate key delivery, being mandatory to notify the approximate arrival time at least 24 hours in advance.
Any delay in the arrival time must be communicated as soon as it is known to adjust the new entry time. The ACCOMMODATION does not have a reception, and staff will arrive at the agreed time to receive guests.
Arrival must be before 21:00. For reasons of reconciliation and respect for the working hours of staff, entry will never be later than 21:00. If the TRAVELER arrives after 21:00, a penalty equivalent to one day?s stay will be applied, and entry will take place the next day.

Check-Out Outside of Hours:

Departure after 12:00 hours will be subject to availability and will incur an additional charge of ?100.00 per hour.
If the TRAVELER decides to leave at 14:00 hours, 2 hours will be charged, i.e., 200.00?.

5.3. Pets:

General Rules:

Pets may not be left alone in the rural house at any time. During the stay, they must always be under the supervision of one of the owners.
Animals are only allowed if expressly stated in the ACCOMMODATION reservation conditions and with prior written authorization.
Once the ACCOMMODATION knows the breed, weight, character, and behavior of the animal, it will communicate its decision as soon as possible.

Maximum Number: A maximum of 2 pets per reservation is allowed.
Allowed Areas: Pets are not allowed in the rooms or common areas, except in the garden.

Responsibility:

The TRAVELER must sign a responsibility document detailing the number of pets, the corresponding amount, and acceptance of responsibility for possible damages.
The owners of the animal and the person who formalizes the reservation (if different) jointly assume any damages that may occur in the establishment to any customer or worker.
Consequences for Non-Compliance:

If these rules are violated, the ACCOMMODATION may demand immediate eviction without compensation.

5.4. Coexistence Rules:

The TRAVELER must keep the accommodation clean and in good condition.

Prohibitions:

Smoking in any area of the accommodation, including the garden. If it is detected that the client has smoked in the facilities, they will bear the costs of cleaning and disinfection. Cleaning costs will be calculated at ?16.00 per hour for the time necessary to restore the accommodation to its original state, as well as laundry costs.
Organizing parties or events. If this prohibition is violated, the TRAVELER will bear the cleaning costs, calculated at ?16.00 per hour for the time necessary to restore the accommodation to its original state.
Generating noise between 21:00 and 09:00 hours.
Consequences: Non-compliance with these rules may result in immediate eviction without compensation and the application of charges for damages, cleaning, disinfection, or disturbances caused.

6. CHILDREN AND EXTRA BEDS

6.1. Children:

Children of all ages may stay.
Children under 2 years can stay free in cribs. The maximum number of cribs is 2.

6.2. Extra Beds:

A maximum of 4 extra beds in total is allowed, with a limit of 1 per room (except in room 1).
The cost for an extra bed is 30.00? per person per night.

7. CANCELLATION POLICY

7.1. Cancellation by the TRAVELER:

Free up to 15 days before the arrival date.
If canceled within 15 days prior to arrival, 100% of the reservation amount will be charged minus management fees.
In case of no-show, the total price will be charged.

7.2. Management Fees: A 1% of the total amount plus a 2% of the payment made will be applied as cancellation fees. For international or AMEX cards, an additional 2% will be added.

7.3. Cancellation by the ACCOMMODATION: In case of overbooking, the ACCOMMODATION will offer accommodation of equal or better quality. If this is not possible, 100% of the advance will be refunded.

8. RESPONSIBILITIES

8.1. Information: Mr Plan is not responsible for errors or omissions in the information provided by the ACCOMMODATION or the TRAVELER.

8.2. Damages: The TRAVELER is responsible for damages caused in the accommodation. The ACCOMMODATION may retain the deposit (if any) to cover repair costs.

8.3. Use of Service: The execution of any operation implies full acceptance of these conditions. The TRAVELER will be solely responsible in case the use of the service is carried out defectively, partially, or incorrectly.

8.4. Access to the Reservation System: The ACCOMMODATION reserves the right to cancel access to the reservation system for users who misuse it or violate reservation policies.

9. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION

9.1. This contract is governed by the applicable legislation for the ACCOMMODATION.

9.2. The parties, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Plasencia (Cáceres) for the resolution of any disputes arising from the application or interpretation of this contract.

10. PAYMENT SECURITY

10.1. All transactions are carried out in a secure environment using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which ensures that the information is transmitted encrypted.

11. ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS

11.1. By making the reservation, the TRAVELER fully accepts these conditions. Any incorrect or fraudulent use of the service may result in the cancellation of the reservation without the right to a refund.

11.2. The TRAVELER declares that they have read, understood, and accepted all the conditions set forth herein.
