For 15 days, the Jerte Valley awakens and millions of cherry trees blossom, covering the mountain slopes in white. In addition, the people of the valley celebrate a great festival that lasts for several days in different villages.

We are close, soon the Valley will be filled with FLOWERS.

Cherry blossom is a natural process that is linked to temperatures. Flowering is brought forward if temperatures are warmer and delayed if the weather is cold. Therefore, every year it is very difficult to foresee with certain anticipation what will be that magical fortnight that surprises the visitor so much. Here we will be attentive to the forecasts and we will make estimates. The date of the festival (the cherry blossom festival), on the other hand, is programmed in advance and some years it may not even coincide with the actual flowering. I suggest you to consult this page, as we will be changing the forecasts as the weather evolves.
