Passion for Contemporary Art
Artists such as Olafur Eliasson, Kandinsky, Picasso, Louise Bourgeois, Helena Almeida or Ai Weiwei are part of a journey that reflects Helga de Alvear's passion for the art of our present.
The exhibition that occupies the new building reveals the character of the Helga de Alvear Collection and reveals the Museum's vocation to facilitate a plurality of experiences around the artistic fact. The works that occupy "the treasure chest" designed by Tuñón Arquitectos are periodically renewed to accommodate new acquisitions and offer different perspectives on the potential of the Collection, whose breadth, diversity and richness make it possible to elucidate the idiosyncrasies of our present .
