De Marta has a double attraction, it is a wooded area with picnic areas to rest, eat and spend a little time with the family and is crossed by a gorge that ends in a very nice fall.

Gargata De Marta, more than a gorge is a place, an idyllic spot, where we will enjoy a large and wooded picnic area, the remains of an old wine press and a gorge that ends in a beautiful waterfall.
It is very close to the village of Valdastillas (2 km approx.). It has a small parking area (8-12 cars at most). Once parked the car, going down from the road (next to it), we first find the large picnic area (in autumn its landscapes are authentic travel magazine). 100 meters further down we pass by the old wine press, and another 100 meters further down, following the course of the gorge, we can access a platform (almost hanging) from where we can contemplate the fall of a waterfall (from the top). A beautiful and ideal place (with plenty of shade and cool in summer) to take a snack and have a good time with family or friends (or as a couple).
Yes, it is ideal, the area is spacious and access to the picnic area is very comfortable, even for a stroller or people with limited mobility. Even a vehicle could drive down from the road (obviously it is forbidden).
